No. It is a hybrid programme: online foundations on Skool followed by a mandatory one day in person practical on mannequin heads and a competence assessment.
The relevant learning modules, a practical training day, an essential student kit, business education after the practical day and an assessment and certification pathway.
After completing your in person practical training, the business modules open on Skool. Each module includes a clear lesson, worksheet and task to help you develop your service and prepare for clients.
Yes. The business education covers researching hair vendors, professional supplier conversations, negotiation basics, sample testing and costing.
Certificates are issued only after successful completion of the required theory, practical training and competence assessment. Attendance alone does not guarantee certification.
Eligible graduates can request a code for 10% off eligible ABT insurance when they are preparing to provide services to the public. ABT terms and eligibility apply. Learners are not individually covered under the educator's teaching insurance.
