UK Privacy Information — Hair 2 The Throne Education
Last reviewed: 22 October 2026. This notice supplements our Privacy Policy, especially for people contacting us about beauty business consultancy or training. If you have questions about personal data, email hair2thethroneconsulting@gmail.com.
What we collect
For business strategy enquiries, we ask about your name, email address, business name and sector, how long you have traded, business challenges, what you have tried, estimated impact on time or income, and your desired outcome. If you book a paid session, we also use booking and transaction details. Please do not include passwords, payment card information, health information or personal details of your own clients in free-text responses.
Why we use it and our legal basis
- Enquiries and preparing a prospective session: to respond and take steps at your request before a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); for general enquiries, our legitimate interests in responding to requests (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Paid consultancy, training or products: to perform our contract, arrange delivery and provide agreed services (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Bookkeeping and legal requirements: to comply with applicable tax, accounting and other obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Security and dispute handling: where necessary for legitimate interests in securing our services and protecting the business (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Promotional emails: where you have given valid consent or where another applicable electronic-marketing permission exists. Submitting a consultancy questionnaire does not automatically sign you up for marketing.
Who receives your information
We use Shopify to operate the website and handle forms. Depending on your purchase or enquiry, relevant details may also be handled by payment processors including Stripe, email and video-conferencing providers, and course or digital-delivery platforms. We share only information reasonably needed to perform the service. Some providers may process data outside the UK using applicable safeguards; see their privacy notices and our main Privacy Policy.
Keeping your information
We retain enquiries only while reasonably necessary to respond, prepare for a session, follow up on a request, or manage a dispute. We aim to review inactive or unsuccessful consultancy enquiries within 12 months for deletion or anonymisation, unless another reason to keep them applies. Contract and transaction records may be kept longer to meet statutory accounting and tax obligations. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable exemptions, UK data protection law provides rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive certain information, object to some uses, and withdraw consent where used. Contact hair2thethroneconsulting@gmail.com to make a request. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies and marketing
Necessary cookies help the website and checkout function. Non-essential analytics or advertising cookies should only be used in accordance with applicable consent rules. Please use any cookie-preferences controls displayed on the website. We do not use the consultancy questionnaire for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
